HIKING TRAILS

Hikes at your doorstep

Gentle
Fenland Loop: A magical forest walk winds around water inlets. Flat.

Easy
Marsh Loop: Spot fish, birds and other wildlife. Flat with some stairs.
Sundance Canyon: Wander along the easy, paved path by the river up to waterfalls and through forests. Easy hill.

Moderate
Spray river loop: Trail meanders along the Spray river. Short & long options. Rolling path.
Hoodoos: Interesting rock formations set above the Bow River valley. Some hills and a ridge walk.

Challenging
Tunnel Mountain: A great workout in the woods rewards you with fabulous views over Banff. Hiking poles recommended.

Strenuous
Sulphur Mountain: Enjoy spectacular views whilst enjoying a hard won snack in the café at the top. Take the Gondola down for an easier option.  Steep, hiking poles recommended.
